In December 2020, my boyfriend and I stuffed two bikes, two surfboards, climbing gear, camping equipment, and a wooden loom and two bags of yarn (priorities!) into his Prius and road-tripped from the east coast to the west. We spent our days working remotely in the car and our afternoons enjoying the great outdoors. We eventually made our way to Oceanside, just north of the charming San Diego, and I immediately fell in love with the southern Californian vibes. "Clouds" was inspired by the dreamy, cotton-candy clouds along the beach during lazy afternoons in the water.
